Faery witch Kelly and Viking ghost Ingvar time travel to ancient Norway in WYTCHFAE RUNES, encountering thugs along with true evil.

She dropped to the frozen ground and put her head in her hands. She could not help the tears that streamed down her cheeks but seemed torn from her gut. Ingvar taken by the Grims and she had not been able to stop it. This was all her fault. She should never have brought him here, thinking she could help him change the past and save his sister.“Well, if the chit is not already wailing like a widow,” a mocking voice said. She looked up. Hyge stood over her, his ghostly form swaying, his throat bloody and half torn out.

  1. He must be a fright to look at but sounds like he could actually help under the right circumstances. I loved the snippet. A great hook, I really want to know how this scene continues.

  2. Oh no! Sounds like she’s going to have no time to grieve. Great hook, and I love that cover! 🙂
