When I first met my husband Ronnie, he had just been discharged from the Army and came to our town to stay with his uncle for a while. We fell in love and married about a year later over winter break while I was still in college. We had 43 1/2 wonderful years together, lots of good times, some hard times, and our son Ashley, the light of our life. This picture is Ronnie just after he came home from the service. It reminds me of mod, stylish Carnaby Street, and I love the photo.
My fourth book, Time Singer – Wytchfae 4, publishes today, and the dream of being a published author would not have been fulfilled without my Ronnie. He supported, encouraged, and always had my back. He still does. Always and forever…
Cheers & happy reading!
Flossie Benton Rogers, Conjuring the Magic with Paranormal Fantasy Romance
Congrats on your latest release, Flossie. I’m off to purchase it now. I know your Ronnie is assuredly smiling down on you today! 🙂
Ooops! I guess it hasn’t hit Amazon yet. I’m sure you’ll be shouting when it does 🙂
It will be on Amazon and the other places in about a week:)
Yes, he is. Thanks, Mae.
Lovely post 🙂
Thank you:)
In this picture, it’s amazing how much Ashley looks like his dad. I didn’t know Ronnie, but I know you, so he had to have been a very special man. Love the photo.
Even Snickerdoodle asked, “Is that Daddy?”
