In honor of my beloved husband Ronnie, today we’re featuring one of his favorite drinks, sambuca. It is an Italian anise flavored liqueur– strong, devilish, and potent. It comes in crystal clear and deadly dark. He “met” sambuca while working in a seaside village in Spain, where the old codgers invariably added a splash of it to their morning coffee.
Sambuca Diablo
Ingredients: Strong hot coffee, 1 ounce sambuca
Directions: Pour sambuca into your favorite coffee cup and fill cup with piping hot strong joe. Sip it!
