Trick or Treat!
Halloween is all about a spooky good time, and what’s more fun than treats? What was your favorite Halloween candy as a kid? The mothers in our town made delicious homemade treats such as fudge and real candied apples. Among my favorite packaged candies back then were 5th Avenue bars and Peanut Butter bars.

My mom made home made popcorn balls and Carmel apples. Sometimes Rice Krispie treats. I loved getting regular candy like Reese’s, Hershey’s and snickers since we didn’t get a lot of store bought candy
Caramel apples are so good! I miss handmade treats, but at least we can still make them for family.
