- What’s special about October? Halloween, a celebration of childhood, costumes, and
candied apples. - Pumpkin patches and all those watchful Jack O’ Lanterns.
- Red, yellow, and gold leaves, creating bursts of color to spice up the emerald and azure.
- October greetings. A friend of mine developed a unique custom of sending me a Happy October card this time of year. It always takes me back to when we were girls, waiting for the first chill in the air and all the fun to come.
- Baseball playoffs and football games. Family time.
- New season of Supernatural. Season 8. Sam & Dean & the Impala hit the road again.
- Sun in Libra and decreasing light bring on sensations of mellow equilibrium, while chilly air zings up the creativity. This is a perfect time to take stock, finish projects, and plan new ones.
- Secret Cravings Publishing scheduled my debut novel, the paranormal romance Wytchfae Runes, to release on Halloween. On Halloween! Can you say excited?
