My Hump Day Hook is from Wytchfae Runes, the story of faery witch Kelly and the warrior Ingvar.
Kelly had never been turned on by a ghost before. The clean, masculine scent of the Viking walking at a brisk pace beside her blended with the aromatic pines, and slathered up images that had nothing to do with time travel or Wytchfae work. The images had more to do with plunging down with him on a pillow of pine needles to have her wicked way. Dappled by the slanting rays of an afternoon sun, violets and purple skullcap teased her as they peeped through the needles. The wildflowers would make a soft pillow as well. What the hell is wrong with me? I want to ravish a ghost.

Hey, I’m with Kelly. I want to ravage a ghost too…these two so definitely intrigue me. Loving your weekly hints into their story 🙂
If the ghost looked like a viking, I understand what’s wrong with her… Nothing!
Wow, what a beautiful snippet. I loved the scene and almost smelled his scent and the waft of pine needles in the air. Great work!
Loved the hook. Lovely description.
Good Hook. Loved her berating herself! 🙂
