Update: Shadow K and Tessa B are the winners of a copy of Wytchfae Runes.
The Ghullie Dhu or Dark Man is a prominent figure in Celtic mythology. He is sometimes viewed as a thin black-haired lad clothed in leaves and other greenery. I see him a different way. I see him as large, dangerous, and sexxxy. He makes an appearance in WYTCHFAE RUNES when Kelly and Ingvar trek through the creepy dark forest after a visit to the Swamp Wytch.
Question: You are walking through the woods at night. What potential creature or Halloween Haint would scare you the most if it approached you?
Answer the question and leave a comment & your email address to be entered into a drawing for prizes. The contest will run for multiple days. Grand prize is a ten-dollar gift certificate from Secret Cravings Publishing. Other prizes are two PDF copies of my new paranormal romance WYTCHFAE RUNES.
I love akk kinds of creatures and shapeshifters. However, I think that if I met a werewolf it would be a little scary.
A werewolf would certainly give me the shivers too, Tessa.
Anything that I hear first, coming from the dark, then see it, in my flashlight beam, the eyes or energy from it, then I faint and hopefully wake up after the sun rises, not remembering what frightened me into oblivion, but thankful for fainting………
Yikes, Kay, fainting while something is coming at you in the dark is scary! Hopefully, when you wake up only one night has passed and the fairies haven’t taken you away to their world for a decade or two.
I think running into anything would scare the crap out of me. I’m a bit of a chicken.

I speak the same chicken language, Kristina– cluck cluck. Experience with horror movies = no walking through woods at night. I guess Kelly and Ingvar hadn’t seen many horror movies LOL.
I’m easily spooked, so I’d avoid the woods at night! Probably a rotting zombie would upset me most…
I also find zombies very scary, as there is no way at all to reason with them. They just come, and come, and continue to come at you.
Happy Halloween!! Thank you so much for the awesome hop and giveaway! 🙂 Hmm. The one thing that would really scare me, killer clowns with sharp teeth. Im picturing “It”.

I think of Sam Winchester in Supernatural, who has a fear of clowns and, in that episode, with very good reason! Thanks for stopping by.
