Torchy Tuesday highlights a torchy female this week in honor of my husband’s birthday tomorrow. Ann-Margret with the soft, sexy voice and flaming red hair was always his favorite star. He enjoyed her earlier movies, such as State Fair, Bye Bye Birdie, and Viva Las Vegas with Elvis, as well as her comeback movies, Carnal Knowledge with Jack Nicholson and Magic with Anthony Hopkins. Both of our favorite stars, Ann-Margret and Michael York, rip roared through The Last Remake of Beau Geste, and we saw that movie umpteen times. We appreciated that Ann-Margret and her husband Roger Smith also had a longterm marriage and stuck together no matter what. Happy Birthday, Ronnie, with love always and forever.
