What is the working title of your book? Wytchfae 3: Mind Your Goddess
Where did the idea come from for the book? The two main characters–Epona and Eshigel–are minor characters from Wytchfae Runes, my new release from Secret Cravings Publishing. In Wytchfae Runes they help the main characters Kelly and Ingvar fight their battles. In Wytchfae 3: Mind Your Goddess, Epona and Eshigel’s love and adventures are central to the story.
What genre does your book fall under? Paranormal Romance with elements of dark fantasy.
Which actors would you choose to play your characters?
The hero Eshigel is a Dark Guardian– tall and huskily muscular, with long flowing black hair and one eye covered by a rakish patch. He needs to be played with raw sensuality, volatility, and simmering anger. Any suggestions for an actor fitting the part? The heroine Epona is a goddess of fruitfulness. I see her as vivacious and bubbly, perhaps the lovely young actress Kirsten Storms.
What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book? Dark Guardian takes on the Roaring Twenties to save his Goddess.
Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency? No guarantees but hopefully Secret Cravings Publishing will like it.
How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript? I am still in progress with this novel.
What other books would you compare this story to within your genre? Not sure, but the tone and elements of adventurous fantasy are reminiscent of the novels of Anya Bast.
Who or what inspired you to write this book? My love of mythology and fairy tales engenders my creative process.
What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest? First and foremost it is the love story of the Goddess Epona and the Dark Guardian Eshigel. After that, it’s filled with dark fantasy and adventure. One element that might intrigue readers is that the characters time travel back to the Roaring Twenties. The Goddess Epona is a helluva flapper.
