God of the golden bow
and of the golden lyre,
and of the golden hair,
and of the golden fire.
John Keats
Love, love, love these words. I cannot count how many times I recited this to my son during his childhood. What do you feel when you gaze up Meynier’s painting?
Cheers & Happy Reading!

Lovely Keats’ lines! There was a widespread cult of Apollo, something the other gods didn’t benefit. But if we think that he was multi gifted – healer, light, prophetic deity ( oh how I love this aspect), no wonder he inspired authors.
Thanks for the lovely lines and image!
For me it’s a suggestion of enchantment, joy, free spirit.
What wonderful description of how it makes you feel, Carmen– enchantment, joy, free spirit.
Beautiful Lines!
So true, Cathy.
I like Carmen’s thought about a suggestion of enchantment, joy and free spirit. And, of course, beautiful light!
Oh, the light, Mae!
