CONGRATULATIONS TO EVA P., WINNER OF THE SCP JUST DESSERTS BLOG HOP. EVA WON A COPY OF WYTCHFAE RUNES AND A FREE RUNE READING.
Florida Cracker Treats are tasty morsels containing a luscious layer of chocolate.Yum! Because of that, Kelly and Ingvar of Wytchfae Runes would go to the Underworld and back for them. They would time travel to ancient Timbuktu for them. They would sneak into the dark, dire world of the Grims…well, you get the idea.
For a chance to win a free Rune Reading and a copy of Wytchfae Runes, comment on this blog by describing your favorite dessert. Make sure to leave your email address.
FLORIDA CRACKER TREATS
Ingredients: 1 sleeve saltines, 1 cup brown sugar- dark or light, 2 sticks butter, 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Oven- preheat to 400 degrees. Line cookie sheet with foil and spray with non-stick spray. Place a layer of saltines onto cookie sheet. Combine sugar and butter in saucepan and bring to boil. Cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and pour over crackers, spreading it out evenly. Bake 5 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle chocolate chips onto the crackers. As the chips melt, spread out the chocolate to cover the crackers. Optional- top with chopped pecans or slivered almonds OR let your kiddos decorate with colorful, edible sprinkles. When the concoction is completely cooled, break into pieces. It is more fun if the pieces are irregular! Here is the most important step- take a bite and squeal with delight.
Blurb: Combine one faery witch and one hot Viking ghost and what do you get? Supernova attraction. Can they evade their enemies long enough to fan the flame?
Opening Line: In a star’s blink, a claw like hand gripped Ingvar’s throat and crushed him against the wall.
One line teaser: Kelly had seen Ingvar transform from insubstantial apparition to hot red blooded male.
Another scrumptious receipe, and you know I love the sound of your book. (I created a rune set in selenite last year.)

My kids would like these.

I have to make this recipe. I love anything with chocolate!
This sounds so good. Thanks for the recipe. My fave treat is pumpkin cheesecake with bourbon whipped topping (make that extra topping).
That is one of the easiest sounding recipes, I bet even I can make them and believe me I can’t cook or bake to save my life! My favorite dessert would have to be cheesecake!
This sounds very good and I love how used it in your book too! I love chocolate and mouse like desserts.
Flossie that sounds divine!

This one looks similar to one I make for my husband consisting of townhouse crackers and a toffee coating. Yum. Can’t wait to try this one.
I love that this is named after my home state 🙂 Thanks for sharing, Flossie!
One of my faves is Espresso Chocolate Mousse with Orange Mascarpone Whipped Cream.
