This is the final book in the Doc Holliday mystery series. Tullah is prompted by dream visions, spiritual guidance, and her own deepest need to seek the facts and identify the perpetrators surrounding her mother’s death fourteen years prior. Although she has the support of her family and friends, she must also call forth her innermost strength to face the external and internal demons that lurk in every dark corner. I am so pleased that she has a love interest in this one. The book does an outstanding job of tying up various knots and threads of her unusual life. It is an excellent ending to the series.
Favorite Supporting Characters- Clay Wolfchild Bannister
Fun Tidbit- Tullah’s grandmother is fixated on the worry that Tullah will never provide her with great grandchildren. Her frantic descriptions and Tullah’s sardonic musings surrounding “Tullah’s ovaries” lend comic hilarity to a rollercoaster murder mystery.
Memorable Line- Only the dead enjoy the cold.
Cheers & Happy Reading!
