Here is another quality offering in the Doc Holliday mystery series. To begin helping with a case at her father’s request, Tullah must push aside past trauma suffered at the hands of an unconscionable bully. She travels alone to Oklahoma and navigates the world of upper-class ranch living, bull riders, and the rodeo circuit. It’s a familiar world to her, since she has past rodeo experience and is supremely comfortable in the saddle. Still, nefarious characters abound, and the danger to herself and others is palpable. Her spirit guides and spiritual allies are on the clock, however, and team up to help her. She also has a new male acquaintance that puts her mind on things other than the mystery at hand. As you’re reading, you wonder if he is a friend or a foe. You also cross your fingers that Tullah can glean clarity from the spiritual hints and uncover her enemies before it is too late. Ride the rodeo with our favorite fictional veterinarian as she seeks the truth, all the while helping someone who probably doesn’t deserve the help.

Fun Tidbit- Tullah realizes that she may be known to those she is investigating in Oklahoma. It’s fun to see what she does to prevent her true identity being revealed.
