Fellow author Chrys N. Jay performs marvels this month with the A-Z blog challenge. I blog only 2-3 times per week— can you imagine producing a post every day? Kudos to her! I am so in awe of her commitment and dedication to this blog project. My paranormal fantasy romance Guardian of the Deep is featured there as the Gof A-Z. I am pleased to share Sam and Layla’s love story with you. If you are intrigued by the idea of a succubus and dark guardian falling in love, pop over to the site of CHRYS N. JAY!
Meanwhile, Marigold minds the house here.
Cheers & Happy Reading!

Congratulations to my three winners in the Secret Cravings Publishing blog hop to benefit Wounded Warriors: Mae, Tabby, and Laurie! The eBook format of their choice for Guardian of the Deep – Wytchfae 2 has already been delivered. I hope they enjoy the story of forbidden love in the fae realm. Fire (succubus) + water (undersea guardian) = STEAMY.
A Succubus in danger. A captivated undersea Guardian.

The following is from the unedited Guardian of the Deep – Wytchfae 2, scheduled for a June release from Secret Cravings Publishing. The Succubus Layla is concerned for Samael, whose mind has been demon zapped:
“You called me that name once before. Down by the river. It’s not my name, but it’s close.” Pulling away, he frowned down at her. “Maybe you’d better explain.”
Layla squeezed her eyes shut. If only she hadn’t slipped up with his name. How in the world would she explain calling him Samael? Relying on her gut feeling, she dropped her hands, inhaled deeply and then opened her eyes and deepened her dimples into a smile. “Some say I have strong intuition, that’s all, Sam, but half the time it’s wrong. I was close though, wasn’t I?”
He didn’t answer.
See the inspiration for Samaelhere, and for Laylahere.

This snippet is from the unedited Guardian of the Deep (Wytchfae 2), scheduled to be published in June:
“Samael.” Damn it, her voice shook.
He halted the stallion within a few feet of her as she lay sprawled in the shallow water. She flinched at the look he tossed her from beneath his wide-brimmed Stetson. It wasn’t the heated gaze he usually gave her, the one that melted her insides and made it hard to breathe. No, this was the distant stare of a stranger. A cold stranger with her lover’s face.
