Cella looked at Bane and shook her head. Then her gaze fell back on Layla. “I waited here for you to show up. If you didn’t come soon, I planned to try to find you in the Guardian’s undersea domain, though I’ve never—” A horrific gasp wrenched from Cella’s throat, and the young Wytchfae collapsed. In an attempt to support her friend’s limp body, Layla sank to the floor with her. 
Oh, I have to learn what happened! A great hook, Flossie. It starts rather innocently and the abrupt turn of events is both disconcerting and intriguing.
What happened? Why did she collapse? I must know, I’m hooked!
You have us all wondering now…so I hope you post more in the future.
